How To Save Money With Coupons Using coupons can help you lower your cost of almost anything, this is one of the most effective ways to save money, here are some great ways that will help you save money with coupons. 1. Remember that there are rebates for almost anything, keep a little note or simply remind your self to use coupons all the time, if you go out grocery shopping or want to buy something online remind your self that you can get the same item at a cheaper price. 2. Look in the mail, every day free local coupons are delivered to your home, use them do not just throw them away, coupons are a great way to save money, the companies sending this coupons want to get more business, even if they have to give you a nice discount. 3. Use coupons in your lunch break, I remember when I used to work in the computer helpdesk, we used to eat out all the time, we had a huge book of coupons and we used them all the time, we saved a ton of money doing this. 4. When ever you get to the grocery store ask for the coupon book or shopper, you will find a ton of rebates in their shoppers, if possible do not buy brand names, yes I know some people say that they are of better quality but the price will be 2 or 3 times higher, instead buy non branded items, I can guarantee you that the quality is almost the same and you will still save a ton of money. 5. If you are planning to buy electronics always ask for a rebate, these companies always have great specials, also ask if they have mail in rebates, etc, yes you have to pay the full price at the time of checkout but in a few weeks you will get a nice check in the mail for the rebate amount. 6. Buy in bulk, this works great, do not buy items separately, this will save you a lot of money, even if you do not use a coupon. 7. When buying online always hit the coupons websites, they are every where and they are a great resource for discounts, also compare prices, I usually check 3-4 sites for the same item before buying it, once I find the place with the cheapest shipping cost and the lower item price then I visit a few coupon sites, I have been able to get a 20 to 30% discount by doing so. 8. Get discounts when buying combined items, this is another great way to save money, there are places for example Payless Shoes where they will give you a pair of shoes for the regular amount and then you get half off for the next item, this is great, I do that all the time I buy shoes, I get a pair of regular shoes and then my tennis shoes for half the price, I have been able to apply a coupon to this offer also. 9. Use coupon search engines, this is another great way to find coupons online, instead of looking at sites on their categories, etc instead use a search engine, simply enter what item you are buying and it will give you a coupon result for that. 10. Use a coupon or cash card at your local gas station, this works great I usually get a .10 cent per gallon discount when I use them, the best part is that they are free. As you can see using coupons is great if you like to save money, I mean why pay the full amount for something when you can get it cheaper! |
